This personal project is a “neue classe” vehicle, a first brand entry for the next generation of upwardly mobile premium car buyers. With a new decade, comes a longing for a new aesthetic movement, Maximalism. The unrelenting minimalism of decades prior has left Gen-Z with a cultural ennui, and a desire for design with depth, complexity, and purpose. A perfect opportunity for Alfa Romeo with their aggressive yet graceful form language and deep Italian cultural heritage to expand their brand reach and fill the new design void developing in our present.
